For the Pacific Steamex Aura Wide Area Commercial Vacuum, Pacific offers standard paper vacuum bags with filtration capability of 5 microns, or optional HEPA filtration with more effective filtering, 99.97 efficiency down to .3 microns. HEPA standards provide for cleaner indoor air, particularly useful for those who suffer from allergies, asthma, or are just concerned about a healthier indoor environment. A bag manufactured to HEPA standards will remove pollen, mold spores, pet dander, dust mites and other impurities with greater control than standard paper bags.
For Pacific’s Arrow BackPack Vacuum, disposable paper bags or a reusable cloth bag are available. Some prefer to avoid the expense of paper bags by using a reusable cloth bag, while others prefer paper bags to eliminate the hassle and potential health hazards of emptying a cloth bag. The Pacific Arrow vacuum cleaner achieves HEPA filtration via its motor filter, so the choice of bags will not affect Arrow’s filtration.
